My Blog
I created this blog in September 2009 to focus on my life in Perth as a French student. I started this blog as a University assignment, but now my motivation has changed. I now enjoy documenting and sharing my experiences online, as it makes my journey as useful as possible to many others worldwide. My blog is a way for me to express my feelings towards Perth. Moreover, it allows me to give advice and tips to people who plan to come to Australia and, more specifically, Perth. I hope to reach to a vast audience; however, I currently just address students who plan to come to Perth. In my blog, I don’t just write about Perth – I write from my personal angle about my experiences in Perth, such as dance tips that are very subjective as they are only based on where I danced. I give potential readers helpful tips to overcome their own debt.– I keep readers informed about what’s important. This blog is a real part of my life, so enjoy your journey in Perth through my eyes .

I’m a 21 –year- old international student in mass communication at Curtin University of Technology, with a strong interest in Public Relations – that is my mainstream. I started my bachelor degree in France, my country of origin, 3 years ago. I came from a business school located in the French Riviera in which the concept of bachelor degree is divided in two parts: two years in France for the core courses and to build strong abilities in English; and two years in a university abroad for the specialties and to proofread the abilities in English. I consider Curtin University as an excellent continuation on from the concept of my French schooling. Indeed, Curtin University is focused on practical studies, which- for me – is the most important aspect of the learning process.
Sporting Interests
I have been dancing since I was 4 years old. It is a passion for me and, more than a passion, it is a philosophy of life. Wherever I am, I must practice my passion in order to keep breathing. I’m currently a dancer at the Dance Workshop in Scarborough, in the northern suburbs of Perth. I’m very pleased to dance at this school and, as a traveler, it is very interesting to learn from other dance cultures. I’m currently preparing a show with my dance school for the 17th of October.
My travels

My jobs
I have done a great deal of different little jobs since I was 14 years old. I have worked in a bakery as a seller, in Macdonalds as a hostess, in summer camps as a supervisor, and in high schools as an education assistant. When I was 17, things became a bit more serious and I started to work in event management in the French Riviera. My last position in France was as a public relations assistant in the marketing department of my French business school.
I’m now working in a restaurant called Farrell’s coffee in Victoria Park (near Perth city); meanwhile, I work for a promotions firm as a brand representative.
